window docking & LCDC plugin help requested

Postby grit » Mon Nov 13, 2006 10:04 pm

I am testing version 4.2.5.3 of your software to use with LCDC. First let me say that I like the interface and apparent accuracy of the readings your software provides. I'm considering registerind the software if I can overcome a few hurdles.

Unfortunately, I can not move the monitor window from the right side of my screen. It's as if the window is docked to the right side of my display. I can move it vertically, but not horizontally.

** I was just playing with the window. I clicked and held the mouse while the icon was on the top blue title bar. After jerking the mouse around (left to right), I was able to move the Hmonitor window OFF the screen (to the right) and then back to the docked position. The window re-docked and was locked. I attempted to duplicate the problem and on the 3rd try, was able to get the window to move away from the docked position onto the screen. When I place the window back to the right side of the screen, it re-docks. I also found I can dock the window to the top of the screen. ***

My only other concern is with respect to the plug-in for LCDC. 1) Will the HDD and GPU readings be made available from within the plugin? 2) Is there any way to configure the plug-in to provide the readings in celsuis rather than fahrenheit?

I've enclosed the Hmonitor report below as requested.

Thank you.

To move Window from the corner, just press the mouse button and move the mouse MORE QUICKLY and abruptly.

As for VGA/HDD values, they will be available in the next major Hmonitor release.

You should address this question to the author of LCDC. AFAIK, it always uses the same settings as Hmonitor.
