Look at CPU core - it is much more reliable... For 2nd sensor, try to change its type to Thermistor and watch the result. Also, it can display some OTHER component temperature - CPU1 is just DEFAULT TEXT LABEL, no more!
To disable it at all - set the caption to N/A.
Also, much probably, 1st fan is for CPU, not Chassis.

Full support for this board (Asus M2A-VM) is added in the Hmonitor 4.3.2.1 release.
